IDS Celebrate National Fish and Chip Day

On Friday 2nd June IDS celebrated National Fish and Chip Day with an open day at our Demo Kitchen. The fish was sourced from the excellent Smith Fish in Westbury-on-Trym ( and the chips peeled by hand from willing helpers and staff. The food was cooked using our in-house Falcon and Lincat fryers, with the chips finished off in one of our Combination Ovens for that ‘triple-cooked’ taste.

‘Chef Dance’ perfected his technique and provided tasters throughout the day for happy staff and customers.
